Our first grade students performed Thursday morning for Birdneck Elementary students on the theme of helping them to think “GREEN.” That night, through song and movement, they provided their parents a lesson on helpful ideas on recycling and saving our natural resources. Parent miles, toe-tapping, and head movements to the songs were observed throughout the the program! Click on the link below to see some pictures taken during the morning program.

Birdneck families enjoyed watching their children explore the wonders at Chuck E Cheese this past Wednesday during our annual fundraiser. The funds raised go to programs to support our children at Birdneck and it looks like we raised almost $600! Thank you parents for supporting our programs at Birdneck! Mr. James, The Voices of Tomorrow, and their sponsors provided Holiday Entertainment for the students at Birdneck on the day before Winter Break. They were also invited to perform at the Laskin Annex for the staff supporting various Virginia Beach City Public School programs.
